Historical site: “Schläifspurefiels Burglënster”
Bourglinster in Frohnert. Reachable via the hiking trail J11, coming up from the Schéinert or from the street CR 131.

Here is one of the most imposing scratched boulders in the region. On the top of the solid sandstone bolder are two bowl pits connected by a channel. On its westernmost side, a half-circular, seat-like indenation has been carved. On the western slope, there are four, long, reatively deep guide channels of various sized. Between them, hole steps have been hollowed out at intervals. The origin of the traces goes back to the stone age. Dr. Schneider described these impressive boulders in his book “Archäologische Felskunde” [“The archological study of boulders”] in 1993.
