Kulturstätte Kirche Beidweiler

The church, built in 1753 by the famous master builders and architects, the Brother Mungenast, the church of Beidweiler is a true jewel. For a small farming village, which Beidweiler was at the time, this was very stately. At the time of Maria Theresa, Beidweiler was a well-to-do town with rish farmers who could afford to build such a worthy church. The church has two patron saints, St. Isidor and St. Hyppolyte. Inside, the eye is immediately drawn to the tasteful woodwork. The form of the tower roof, with tis five points, is unique for our region. The glasswork in the windows is also notable.
