Site: Kriebseweier
Larger woodland pond with viewing platform, rest stop and informational signs. Reachable via the hiking trails J8/Extratour-D through the forest path. By the vantage point, to the left

A beautifully situated woodland lake with informational signs and a rest stop. The lake is fed by the abundant Grünwald springs via another, smaller pond to the West. Rish flora surrounds the water. The lake gets its name from the crayfish found here (Astacus leptodactylus). Crayfish, as it happens, are one of the old life forms on Earth. The Kriebseweier is the largest of the three lakes in the parish.
